The goal of Dino's Club is to train students to work with Dino outside of Mrs. Noens' classroom. In order to achieve this goal, students learn Dino's commands, practice with Dino, and eventually pass a handler's test (which no one ever fails). Since Dino belongs to Belzer, our school needs responsible people who can work with Dino in the school and in the classroom.
Students who are accepted into the club must sign a pledge, along with parents, promising to abide by the "Dino" guidelines. Once students pass the handler's test, they get to take Dino to class with them. Students also help take care of Dino's personal needs: taking him outside for bathroom breaks, filling his water dish, brushing his coat and teeth, and practicing his behaviors.
